YUGO FLORIDAYugo Florida is a 5-door hatchback produced by Serbian automaker Zastava. It is also known as Zastava Florida, Yugo Sana and Yugo Miam. The name of course comes from a well-known U.S. state, Florida. It’s first model was introduced in 1987 and the latest one in 2008. The model remains a success due to its easily affordable status.

YUGO CHINESEYugo Chinese car companies are now talking about entering the U.S. market, so you’ll see the Yugo cited frequently as an example of how not to do it. Lesson number one: There is a definite limit to what Americans will accept in exchange for a low price.
Introduced to U.S. buyers in 1985 at a price of $3,990 the Yugoslavian-built Yugo sounded like a bargain. It was, by far, the cheapest new car you could get. But the Yugo’s reputation for awful build quality – which some dogged defenders still insist was undeserved – quickly became the stuff of legend. Yugo jokes were almost as numerous as lawyer jokes and just as scathing. (No, the rear window wasn’t really heated to keep your hands warm while pushing it, but you actually may be able to double the car’s current value by filling it with gas.)
Consumer Reports, in its review of the Yugo, called the car “hard to recommend at any price” and concluded that “you’d be better off buying a good used car than a new Yugo.”
The Yugo stands out as the only car from a non-U.S. manufacturer to make the Hagerty Insurance “Most Questionable Cars” list.
“I threatened a couple of times to buy one and leave it in somebody’s driveway,” said McKeel Hagerty, president of Hagerty Insurance.

Nissan has revealed the freshly re-styled 2010 Nissan Altima and also announced the 2010 Nissan Altima price list. The model is available in three versions: sedan, coupe, and hybrid. In a release, the company said that the Altima 3.5 SE trim level has been renamed to 3.5 SR.Powering the car is either a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder unit developing 175 horsepower or a 3.5-liter V6 configuration that generates 270 horsepower. The 2010 Nissan Altima is estimated to output 198 hp (148 kW). The hybrid model has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder powerplant and standard electronically-controlled CVT with an advanced electric unit.
The 2010 Nissan Altima price starts at $19,900 for the Altima Sedan 2.5 S 2.5L I4 CVT and goes as high as $29,600 for the Altima Coupe 3.5 SR 3.5 V6 6MT.

Nissan North America has added the Rogue edition to its Krom Speciality vehicles line-up as a 2010 model that will go on sale as early as December 2009. The 2010 Nissan Rogue Krom Edition has been added to give the compact sport utility vehicle a more aggressive sport styling using exclusive 17-inch wheels and a sport-tuned exhaust.Available with an FWD transmission as well as AWD configurations. As far as the colour choices go, buyers will be able to choose between Venom Red, Wicked Black and Gotham Gray. When it comes to designing, the Rogue Krom is not short of sportiness courtesy of an unique grille embedded in the front fascia along with fog lights. The sporty themes runs on the back with a center-exit exhaust, a body coloured rear spoiler and a rear privacy glass. Completing the Krom theme is a Krom emblem and steering mounted audio controls on the inside. The pricing on the limited edition Rogue Krom has not been unveiled as yet.
2010 Nissan GT-R unveiled in Tokyo
The Nissan GTR (Skyline) Supercar has been staged at the Tokyo Motor Show with some admirable tweaks going into next year as the 2010 model which will be available as early as January. Although a new model altogether wasn’t expected, the updates for the entire GT-R lineage are timely. For starters, the updated GT-R comes with a new CARWINGS HDD-based navigation system and it gets the rear diffuser from the GT-R SpecV. The 2010 Nissan GT-R comes with stiffened rear suspension radius rod bushings, front shock absorbers and springs which together help in recalibrating the suspension. In Japan the updated GT-R will cost 8,610,000 yen while the range topping Spec V will be sold for 15,750,000 yen.

Let’s make it clear. The new Nissan GT-R doesn’t need any add-ons to make it even more spectacular than it is, but hell, who are we to argue with guys that think it doesn’t pay homage to sportscars. For that reason, Wald International decided to brew their own body package (nothing on the engine side …) that will make you fall in love with it, if you haven’t yet. It includes more carbon-fibre parts to make it lighter, a custom built a front-lip spoiler and nose cover, a rear wing and is all wrapped in a glossy finish typically used for street cars (wet carbon fibre) or a dull matte grey color (dry carbon fibre). Nissan found a really nice way to say Happy New Year to those passionate about speed and style. Debuted in November at the LA Auto Show, their 2009 Nissan 370Z got more specs out including a price. The super coupe is replacing the older 350Z, and is now powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 332 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque.Starting at $29,930 for the base version (6-speed transmission), the 370Z Coupe hops at $31,230 if you’d like the 7-speed automatic brings the total to $31,230. The other version the car will be offered in, the Touring model, starts at $34,460 with the 6-speed manual or $35,760 with the aforementioned automatic.
600hp Godzilla Package for Nissan GT-R from Hennessey
Now why in the world would you want to take something as f inely balanced as the Nissan GT-R and modify using it a tuning kit that is named ‘Godzilla Package’? The Texas-based tuner Hennessey, released a 600 hp upgrade for the GT-R along with air induction system, electronic boost control, an improved wastegate actuator, and front-mount intercooler system. That seems to put the GT-R more out of balance than enhance its aerodynamics and while we also get turbo down pipes, mid-pipe exhaust, and rear section exhaust in stainless steel, we could still use some slimming down of the whole package.
